Shipped new to Manila in the Philippines, this Woody served as a U.S. Embassy car driven by General Eisenhower and General MacArthur after WWII. It was restored by local craftsmen in the Philippines using Philippine Mahogany. As far as we know, this is the only Woody that has Philippine Mahogany. Most are oak or birch. This 1946 Ford Woody Wagon has been owned by Bruce Cohn since 1986.
C ar Features :
This Woody has been repainted and now has an updated engine, transmission and suspension. Disc brakes, power steering and air conditioning have also been added. It drives like a brand new car, with the exception of a few squeaks in the wood doors. Highlights include...
- Camaro 305 Fuel Injected V8 Engine
- Automatic 4 Speed with Overdrive Transmission
- 12-Volt Wiring Throughout
- Air-Conditioning
- Mustang Rack & Pinion Front Suspension
- Disc Brakes
- 12 Bolt Posi-Traction Rear End
Art Sculpture :
As you arrive at our tasting room, take some time to admire the one-of-a-kind works of local artist, Patrick Amiot. These fun hand crafted pieces of art are created using recycled materials and are inspired by Bruce Cohn's car collection. Bruce is at the wheel and joined by his faithful dog Moose. Alongside the Woody, you will find a sculpture of Bruce Cohn's 1933 Willys Roadster.
